Mr Weil Palmer, president of Hatemalo Foundation want to be in our team to help Litte World Nepal

Welcome to the website of the foundation Hatemalo Nepal


Hatemalo is Nepali,which means "circle of hands', in other words: working together.



The purpose of the Foundation Hatemalo Nepal is supporting the foundation of the social workers 'Little World Nepal' in Kathmandu. Iin the broadest sense, both material and immaterial.



The social workers of 'Little World Nepal' aim of running a pension (boarding house) where they start new social workers and teachers training. Those go after their training back to their villages to work there. Furthermore, Little World Nepal takes care of dropouts. Young people are taken care of and sent back a good direction in society.

An initiative of Wiel Palmen. After a trip to Nepal Wiel Palmen decided to support the good work of Little World of Nepal. Wiel visited Kathmandu in March 2010 and was shown around by a group of social workers in training. In Kathmandu Wiel came in contact with Umesh Bomjan, co-founder of the Little World Nepal

Projects
A group of students, with the help from teachers of the College of Development Studies Nepal Kathmandu Nepal Little World Foundation was founded.

The foundation focuses on the generation of the future: children and students. There are several actions and projects.

Projects aimed at street:

• Teaching material for the poorest children.

• Bathing and Clothing Project: The students collect clothes, wash them, and repair them and distribute the clothes out in the street. They also take care that the children are regularly showering.

• Contribute in purchasing medicines. Most children are in a bad state of health, and are suffering from(skin diseases, diarrhea, vomiting) .
• To create a safety network for homeless children
Projects focused on students:
• Renting and decorating a dorm for six very poor students who wish to study for 'social workers'.
• Hiring and setting up a separate office for the Little World Foundation Nepal. They still pay the rent from their own resources.

Foundation Hatemalo first want to:
• Ensure the establishment of the studenthouse € 3000, -
• Find a sponsor willing to pay rent for three years.
• The establishment of the office including two laptops € 2000, -

The Latest News
In April 2011, Wiel Palmen will travel to Nepal again and identify the most urgent problems which students face. When it comes to the homeless children. He will try to make contact with other aid organizations working in Nepal.
