Little World Nepal last presentation of 2012

Saturday night, Claude Feillatre, president of the Little World Nepal France (LWNF), gave a conference to present the 2012 results of the association to forty people. The LWNF is split into two entities, one in France and one in Nepal led by Umesh Bomjan. That's him on the ground, that proposes actions to be taken, which are then financed by World Little Nepal.




"In October, 18 people went to Nepal. We brought with us more than 200 kg of clothing and 1,000 pairs of glasses, essential medicines in remote villages. We also managed to fund an ambulance to the village of Garimundi at 2400 m altitude, in the region of Dolakha. We funded a third school Judibela in the Tarai region, close to India, "says Claude Feillatre.



Today, the association has an even more ambitious project: replacing the school made ​​of bamboo, building a more sustainable and robust. "A goal we want to achieve by October 2013. The Scout Association France was interested in this project, and they will go there to make the foundation. The raw material is there and indigenous people will of course be the first to invest in the project, the education of children is a priority. '
